01 Introduction
Welcome to PRESTIGEMOVE. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the chauffeur and ground transportation services provided by PRESTIGEMOVE ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company") through our website, mobile platforms, telephone bookings, WhatsApp, and any other channel through which we accept reservations.
By making a booking with us, you ("the Client," "you," or "your") accept and agree to be bound by these Terms in full. We recommend that you read them carefully before placing any booking. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our services.
02 Company Information
PRESTIGEMOVE operates as a licensed passenger transport service registered in Portugal. All correspondence, complaints, and formal notices should be addressed to the contact details below.

03 Booking & Reservations
All reservations made through our website, by email, by phone, or via WhatsApp are subject to vehicle and chauffeur availability. A booking is considered confirmed only after all of the following conditions are met:
- We have received complete passenger information, pickup details, date, time, and route.
- We have processed and confirmed the corresponding payment or authorized pre-payment.
- You have received a written confirmation from us by email, WhatsApp, or another agreed channel.
We strongly advise that bookings be made at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance to guarantee availability. Last-minute bookings are accepted subject to capacity and may incur a surcharge.
The Client is solely responsible for providing accurate booking information, including the correct pickup address, contact phone number, flight or train details where applicable, number of passengers, and luggage volume. Inaccurate information may result in delays, additional charges, or the cancellation of the service, for which we accept no liability.
04 Pricing & Payment
All prices quoted are in Euros (€) and include applicable Portuguese VAT unless stated otherwise. Quotes are based on the route, vehicle category, time of day, and any additional services requested at the time of booking.
We accept the following methods of payment:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Klarna and selected buy-now-pay-later options where available
- Bank transfer for corporate accounts (by prior agreement)
Payments are processed securely through Stripe, an independent PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. PRESTIGEMOVE does not store, process, or transmit any cardholder data on its own systems.
Additional charges may apply where the agreed route is materially altered at the request of the Client, where extra waiting time is incurred beyond the complimentary allowance (see Section 6), or where the vehicle is soiled, damaged, or detained beyond the agreed duration.
05 Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that travel plans may change. The following cancellation policy applies to all confirmed bookings:

For airport pickups, the cancellation window is calculated from the scheduled landing time of your flight, not the pickup time on the original booking.
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within ten (10) business days of cancellation confirmation. Some banks may take additional time to display the refund on your statement.
Cancellations due to force majeure events (see Section 9) will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. PRESTIGEMOVE reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time without liability where safety, legality, or vehicle availability so require. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
06 Waiting Time Policy
The following complimentary waiting times are included with every booking:

Additional waiting time is charged at €0.50 per minute, rounded up to the nearest five-minute increment, and is payable at the conclusion of the service. For flights, we monitor actual landing times automatically — Clients do not need to inform us of routine flight delays.
Where, despite reasonable efforts on both sides, the Client cannot be located after the complimentary waiting period has expired, the chauffeur will attempt to make contact via the provided telephone or WhatsApp number. If no contact is established within fifteen (15) minutes of expiry, the booking shall be treated as a no-show and charged in full.
07 Airport Transfer Conditions
For all airport pickups, the Client is responsible for providing the flight number and scheduled arrival time at the time of booking. We strongly recommend that Clients also provide a working international mobile number on which they can be contacted upon landing.
Our chauffeur will meet the Client in the arrivals hall with a personalized welcome sign displaying the lead passenger's name. The exact meeting point will be communicated by WhatsApp or email no later than two (2) hours before the scheduled landing.
PRESTIGEMOVE shall not be held liable for missed flights, delayed connections, lost luggage, or any other consequence resulting from the Client's late arrival to the agreed pickup point, save where such delay is directly attributable to our chauffeur or vehicle.
08 Passenger Responsibilities
By making a booking with PRESTIGEMOVE, the Client and all passengers agree to:
- Be ready at the agreed pickup point at the scheduled time.
- Provide accurate booking and contact information.
- Wear seatbelts at all times while the vehicle is in motion, as required by Portuguese law.
- Treat the chauffeur, the vehicle, and other passengers with courtesy and respect.
- Refrain from any unlawful activity inside the vehicle.
- Supervise and remain responsible for any minors travelling with them.
We reserve the right to refuse carriage to any passenger whose conduct is, in the reasonable judgment of our chauffeur, abusive, threatening, intoxicated to the point of presenting a safety risk, or otherwise inconsistent with the safe and lawful operation of the service. In such cases the fare shall remain payable in full.
09 Delays & Force Majeure
Whilst every reasonable effort is made to arrive at the agreed pickup time, PRESTIGEMOVE accepts no liability for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, road accidents, road closures, public demonstrations, industrial action, mechanical breakdown of a third-party vehicle ahead of us, terrorism, pandemic-related restrictions, or acts of government.
In the event of such a force majeure event, our obligation is to communicate the delay promptly, dispatch a replacement vehicle where reasonably possible, and offer the Client the option of a rescheduled service or a full refund.
10 Vehicle Damage & Soiling
Clients are responsible for the conduct of all passengers travelling under their booking. The Client agrees to pay for any damage, excessive soiling, or extraordinary cleaning required to the vehicle as a direct result of the actions of the Client or their party.
Indicative charges (which may be revised based on actual costs and supported by invoice):

The Client authorizes PRESTIGEMOVE to charge such fees to the payment method used for the original booking. A full breakdown will be provided to the Client by email.
11 Child Seats & Special Equipment
Children under the age of twelve (12) and below 135 cm in height are required by Portuguese law to travel in an appropriate child restraint. PRESTIGEMOVE provides infant carriers, child seats, and booster seats free of charge upon request, subject to availability.
Such equipment must be requested at the time of booking, ideally with at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice. The Client remains responsible for the correct installation and use of the child restraint where the Client elects to fit it personally. Our chauffeur will assist on request.
12 Conduct, Smoking & Alcohol
- Smoking (including electronic cigarettes and vaping) is strictly prohibited in all PRESTIGEMOVE vehicles.
- Consumption of food is not permitted unless agreed in advance.
- Alcohol may be consumed in moderation by passengers who are not driving, provided no glass containers are used and the cabin is left in a reasonable condition. PRESTIGEMOVE reserves the right to refuse further consumption where it is reasonably judged to be excessive.
- Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the service and notification of the competent authorities.
13 Lost Items
PRESTIGEMOVE accepts no liability for any personal items left inside one of our vehicles. Where items are found, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the Client and arrange return, either by collection at our office or by a paid courier at the Client's expense.
We retain found items for a maximum of thirty (30) days, after which unclaimed items will be donated to local charity or disposed of as appropriate.
14 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Portuguese law:
- Our total liability to the Client in connection with any single booking shall not exceed the total fare paid for that booking.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of enjoyment.
- Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability which cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under Portuguese law.
All passengers and their belongings are carried in vehicles insured in accordance with Portuguese law. Additional insurance for high-value items remains the responsibility of the Client.
15 Privacy & Data Protection
The collection, use, and protection of personal data in connection with our services is governed by our Privacy Policy. By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read and understood that Policy.

16 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Porto, Portugal, without prejudice to any non-derogable rights you may have as a consumer under European Union law.
Consumers resident in the European Union may also access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
17 Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time. Any material changes will be published on our website with an updated revision date. Bookings made prior to a change shall continue to be governed by the version of the Terms in effect at the time of booking.
